What is UCF CAB?

The University of Central Florida Campus Activities Board hosts events for students each semester. Events range from a variety of categories including, comedy, concerts, cinema, fine arts, Mr. & Miss UCF, speakers, and special events. This app allows CAB to give students a list of all upcoming events and the details for each event.

About the App

The mission of the Campus Activities Board is to push the boundaries of on campus events for students at UCF, and when designing this app I always kept that in mind. CAB is all about the events, so they are the focus of the app. The homepage is a way to slide through the graphics of the closest upcoming events. From there, you can view a full list of all the events and tap for more information about the event. The app also allowed CAB to teach students more about how CAB works and help to make events more interactive. Interactive features of the app include sign up forms for specific events, a place to comment on events, galleries and directions for crafting events, a way to send CAB pictures from events, scavenger hunts, participation tracker, and one touch access to all of CAB’s social media.
